The North River Ranch community in Parrish, Florida, is a meticulously planned development spanning 2,600 acres. Designed to accommodate 6,000 residences, it offers a mix of single-family homes, townhomes, and villas across four distinct neighborhoods: Wildleaf, Riverfield, Brightwood, and Longmeadow. As part of its commitment to providing residents with exceptional amenities, North River Ranch features Camp Creek, a multi-faceted amenities center that includes a community gathering space, a scenic walking path, and a resort-style aquatics center with an AquaWorx Dueling Waterslide.

At the heart of the aquatics center is an expansive swimming pool featuring a plunge pool and an exhilarating double-flume waterslide, aptly named "Lookout Springs." Standing 20 feet high, this custom waterslide was manufactured and installed by AquaWorx. The water slide consists of teal and blue double open-flume body slides, a steel staircase, and a striking, custom canopy that elevates the overall design of the swimming pool. This high-energy water feature enhances the community’s recreational offerings, providing residents and guests with an exciting way to cool off on hot days and enjoy outdoor fun.

The pool’s filtration system is housed within a fenced equipment yard, utilizing AquaWorx filtration equipment packs. The system features diatomaceous earth (DE) filtration, an efficient method that uses a fine layer of DE powder to trap impurities. The diatomaceous earth is coated onto a grid inside the filter housing, ensuring efficient particle removal and superior water clarity.

This project was a collaboration between AquaWorx, the filtration equipment and waterslide manufacturer, and Waterscapes Pools & Spas, the expert pool builder overseeing the construction of the swimming pool. Together, we have created a dynamic aquatic play experience that adds lasting value to the North River Ranch community, blending resort-style luxury with family-friendly recreation.
